Join us for a special World Environment Day Climate Connect event as we launch Geelong Sustainability’s new 2030 Strategy—an ambitious and community-driven strategy to guide our work for the next five years.
Many of you played a part in shaping this strategy, and now we want to bring our community along with us, united around a shared vision for a just transition to a net zero future.
Event Program
5.30 – 6.00pm: Arrival and networking
Enjoy a relaxed networking session with drinks and light refreshments, connecting with fellow changemakers, allies and community members.
6.00 – 6.40pm: World Environment Day Celebration and Launch of Geelong Sustainability’s 2030 Strategy
Hear from Geelong Sustainability’s Chair, CEO and team as we introduce our new strategy—its priorities, guiding values, and how it will shape our path ahead. This is more than an event to share our strategy, it’s a moment to share our vision for the future and to become collectively invested in creating this change together.
7.00pm – End of event and option to stay for dinner
After the event ends we encourage people to share a meal together downstairs at 1915 and continue the night of connection. Please let us know if you are interested in staying for dinner. Dinner will be ‘pay your own way’ but we will book some tables to ensure everyone can sit together.
