Event Details

We are fast approaching the State Election, and right now, our community is being flooded with mixed messages and misinformation about gas and climate. With this strong groundswell, our movement needs to be engaging in meaningful conversations that invite critical thinking, reflection and space for misinformation to be addressed.

That’s why we’re excited to bring Environment Victoria to Geelong to run a special effective conversations training. This training is designed for volunteers who want to play an active role in shifting the dial in our community leading up to the State Election and beyond. This workshop will support you to engage your community with confidence, build understanding and help grow momentum for a renewables-powered, all-electric future; no technical expertise required.

This interactive training will introduce tools to create deep discussion and engage community opinions around electrification, climate and gas.

We want to support our community, volunteers and supporters to build capacity and skills in these crucial times, so we would love for you to join us to build a stronger community and become part of the vision we are working towards.

As we head into this election, we need to be strategic, informed, and organised. The stakes couldn’t be higher, and if we mobilise, we can influence the outcome. Every conversation we have could be the turning point for someone deciding to vote for climate action or get involved in the campaign.

This is a crucial opportunity to upskill, connect, and take action. Let’s build the power we need to make climate a top priority in this election and beyond.
