Geelong Sustainability invites its financial members to attend a Special General Meeting which will be held Wednesday 18 October 2023 at 5.30pm registration for 6pm start at the Queen of the West.
The Special General Meeting has been convened to consider a Special Resolution to amend the Geelong Sustainability Rules/Constitution.
At the conclusion of the Special General Meeting, we will hear from a special guest speaker from Westwind Energy, who will provide a briefing about the Golden Plains Wind Farm. This state-significant project will be Australia’s largest wind farm to date and power more than 750,000 homes. The wind farm is located on our doorstep in the small rural town of Rokewood in the Shire of Golden Plains; approximately 60 km North West of Geelong.
Please note that if you are unable to attend, we strongly encourage you to pass your vote to the President, or another financial member, by completing this Proxy Form.
If you have time you are welcome to join those of us staying on for dinner which may be purchased from the venue after the conclusion of the formalities.
WHEN: Wednesday 18 October, 5.30pm registration for 6 – 7:30pm (optional dinner from 7:30pm)

COST: Free event (one complimentary drink per member; optional dinner at your own cost)

PROXY: If you are a financial member but are unable to attend in person, we encourage you to pass your vote to the President, or another financial member, by completing this Proxy Form prior to 6pm Monday 16 October.
