Geelong Sustainability is excited to announce our revamped Green Drinks program, with our first event happening on Tuesday 28th February. Regeneration: Exploring a regenerative farming and food system is an event we have developed in partnership with Common Ground Project to celebrate Sustainable Living Festival.

This event is going to be a beautiful night of networking, inspiring conversations and topics, drinks and live music.

Join us for an important conversation and farm tour at the amazing Common Ground Project – a regenerative farm and social enterprise in Freshwater Creek.

Our lands, soils and food systems are in crisis, and building regenerative farming and food ecosystems at many different scales is more important than ever. As we weave through beds of beetroots and greens, this interactive tour will discuss:
  • What regenerative farming is, and how it can be practiced on a small-scale farm
  • Understanding the link between soil health and human health
  • Bringing the community back into farming and food systems
  • How you can get involved in your home and community
There will also be a chance to connect with likeminded community members and hear what the year has in store for Geelong Sustainability. We can’t wait to see you there!

6:45pm – 7:00pm: How to get involved, questions & networking
