Event Details

Repair Café is a free meeting place, all about repairing things together. Expert volunteers will work with you to make repairs on items including: clothes, toys, furniture, electrical appliances (mainly kitchen), bicycles etc. All tools and materials are available to help make those repairs.         All electrical items are tested before and after repairs to ensure safety.

Just come along with an item you need repairing and we’ll help you fix it!

Sign in at the front desk and be matched with a volunteer repairer who can assist to repair your item. You’ll then sit with the repairer and observe and learn how to do that repair.

While you’re there, enjoy a cuppa and chat with other like-minded people. 

There’ll be an independent film crew present this day documenting community initiatives like Repair Cafés and Mens Shed. You’ll be able to talk with them on the day.
