Community Information Session Re Viva Energy’s Gas Import Hub

We will discuss Viva’s proposal to build a gas import terminal at its pier in Geelong and what this proposal means for Geelong and Victoria’s energy, business, economic, recreation, environment and climate future. We will outline the Environmental Effects Statement process, how it runs and opportunities to participate in this. We will be outlining ways that you can assist in building community support towards a sustainable energy future for Geelong, so come prepared to participate and take action on climate!

 

Date : Wed Feb 24, 6.15 for 6.30pm start. Finish 8.30pm

Where : Geelong West Town Hall, 153 Pakington St, Geelong West

Cost : $3, includes light snacks. Drinks will be available for purchase, cash only.
