Geelong Sustainability is excited to welcome two inspiring keynote speakers to this year’s Sustainability in Your Home seminar.
James McLennan is the CEO and Co-founder of Farm My School, a not-for-profit transforming underutilised school grounds into regenerative farms that nourish, educate, and connect communities. With over 15 years’ experience in environmental education and a passion for local, spray-free, nutrient-dense food, James brings practical expertise and visionary thinking to the stage. He’ll share the Farm My School journey and explore the power of community-led change through regenerative gardening, soil health, composting, chickens, worm farms, and waste reduction. James was recently awarded the Jamie Oliver Food Hero Award – Food Entrepreneur of the Year 2024.
Mandy Hall, MasterChef Australia alumni and SA Woman of the Year for Hospitality, is a fierce advocate for real food and sustainable living. Formerly the Campaign Director of The Great Unwaste, Mandy spearheaded a national behaviour change initiative to reduce household food waste across Australia. With a career spanning food, media, business and events, she brings energy, expertise, and a deep commitment to building fairer food systems.
