Meet Jess, from Waste Free Events! Jess is passionate about reducing waste and encouraging positive behaviour change. Events can create so much unnecessary waste—however they are also great opportunities to showcase sustainable initiatives.
Waste Free Events make it easy for anyone to run an event and ensure it has little or no waste. The majority of waste created at events is mainly food and drink packaging. By switching to reusable items you can reduce landfill created by up to 90%!
Services offered include:
- Wash Against Waste kit for hire (cups, plates, bowls, cutlery, and signage)
- Event planning resources and support
- Waste audits, consults and speaking engagements

Waste Free Events can cater to any size event or even small gatherings. They have cups, bowls, plates, cutlery bin signage for hire, and event planning resources.
Along with event support, Jess also conducts waste audits and workshops, speaking engagements and consults to businesses and schools.
