Event Details

Geelong Sustainability invites its members to attend our 2023 Annual General Meeting and Member Briefing, which will be held Wednesday 29 November at 5.30pm registration for 6-7pm at the Grovedale Hotel Geelong.

The AGM presents an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate our recent achievements including winning two Keep Australia Beautiful Awards for our Community Power Hub and Climate Safe Rooms projects, being a finalist for the Premier’s Sustainability Awards, and successfully delivering a number of highly impactful projects. These achievements are the result of the hard work of our wonderful volunteers and also the enormous talent of our permanent staff.

Importantly it is also the time to elect our Board members to manage the finances and good governance of our organisation. This year the elections will be conducted according to the recently amended Rules approved on October 20, 2023.

If you have time please join those of us staying for dinner which may be purchased from the venue after the conclusion of the formalities.
