Our Building Design Expert, Tim Adams, has over 40 years’ experience as a building designer and leading energy efficient house designer. He will bring significant value to your project in this 1:1 consultation.
This consultation is for Residential homes located in the Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast regions, and is particularly suited to clients looking to build or renovate an energy efficient home.
Please contact us about assessment availability for locations more than an hour outside of Geelong.
The consultation includes:
- A review of any background information prior to the consultation.
Such as existing building plans, floor plan from real estate sale, information on any proposed renovations, and photographs of the interior and exterior of the property.
- A 1hr onsite consultation with Tim.
During the visit Tim will inspect the building and discuss your plans. He will provide any initial recommendations and discuss the best ways to achieve your goals.
- Email & phone follow up.
You will receive a followup email with step-by-step recommendations, and links to any suggested products, local trades and suppliers to get the process started. Tim is available for a follow up phone call if you need to clarify anything.

About Tim Adams
Tim is extremely knowledgeable with 40 years’ experience as a building designer, and has a reputation for cost effective, high performance houses. Tim is a registered building practitioner, Accredited Energy Rater, Fellow and Past President of the Building Design Association of Victoria (BDAV / Design Matters National) where he initiated the BDAV 10 Star Challenge. Tim presents frequently at public events, radio shows and industry conferences. He also writes for several technical publications.
