Thanks for your interest in becoming a Geelong Sustainability Business Supporter.

We partner with local businesses, social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations whose work aligns with our Vision, Mission and Values in order to help make our region and community more sustainable.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to become a Geelong Sustainability Business Supporter your business must be able to answer YES to the following criteria:

  1. Does your business activity align with Geelong Sustainability’s Vision, Mission and Values?
  2. Does your business support households or workplaces to be more sustainable?
  3. Is your organisation locally based or does it employ local people?
  4. Does your business currently operate in Geelong or the broader G21 Region?

If your business activity aligns with our objectives and you can answer yes to the above questions we would welcome your application to become a Business Supporter.

Business Supporter Benefits

Application Form

Our Approval Process

As you’d expect, we need to protect the public and our reputation from greenwashing.  

After receiving an application, we check the applicant’s website, social media and other public statements to confirm alignment with our objectives. We’re keen to verify, as far as possible, any environmental claims made about an applicant’s products or services. We also check to ensure each applicant has a good track record and reputation for delivering quality customer service and workmanship.

We will normally respond to an application within 5 business days, but this may take up to 10 business days or longer depending on our workload. Please Contact Us if you have any questions about your application.

Once approved it’s a simple step to invoice for the Business Supporter fee and get you set up on our website. We also like to meet up with our new supporters to welcome them aboard!
