Climate Cosy Rooms
The Climate Cosy Rooms program provides free upgrades to selected, eligible households to improve your home’s comfort and your health during both summer and winter weather extremes, without increasing your energy bills.
Community Energy Revolving Fund
Supporting community organisations to install solar, batteries and energy efficiency measures. Helping them cut power bills and carbon emissions.
Electric Homes Program
The Electric Homes Program is back, fully charged for 2025! The program is in it’s third year having helped hundreds of residents across the Greater Geelong and surrounding regions increase their home comfort and reduce their energy bills – now it’s your turn!

The Community Power Hub directly supports not-for-profit community organisations to address rising energy costs through the development and implementation of renewable energy projects.

The Geelong Circular Living Challenge was an online, gamified challenge developed and delivered in partnership with Circular Economy Victoria

Community Power Hub Barwon South West
The Community Power Hub brought stakeholders together to develop and deliver implementation-ready community renewable energy projects across the region.
Small Business Energy Saver Program
This initiative was designed to help small businesses reduce both their running costs and their carbon emissions by providing generous rebates on items such as fridges, freezers and air conditioners.
Geelong Community Solar Program
The Geelong+ Community Solar Program concluded in late 2021, having supported 276 households and businesses to install solar and battery systems.
Green Cafes
Supporting local cafes to reduce their environmental impacts and engage with their customers on waste reduction. The Green Cafes project saw us work one-to-one with 21 cafes in Ocean Grove
Community Owned Renewable Energy
CORE Geelong was established by Geelong Sustainability to facilitate the transition to a sustainable energy system.
