‘Shoots, Stems & Seeds’ – Growing Plants for Free

What’s it all about?

You will learn how to start a garden without paying for plants.  Propagating plants using cuttings is a great way to save money and expand your garden. You can do it from plants that you or your friends already have.

You will take pleasure in embracing horticulture in a beautiful and sustainable way.

 What will we cover?

This class will cover how to grow your own plants using a number of propagation methods.  Participants will learn tips for successfully sowing seeds, dividing plants and taking cuttings.

 Who will be teaching?

Emily, Dominique and Lucy are three horticulturists with many years experience growing plants for their own gardens and have all worked at the Geelong Botanic Gardens.  They’re passionate gardeners and plant collectors and love to encourage others to embrace horticulture as a way to make our lives more beautiful and sustainable.

Please Note: Classes are for adults only held at Beav’s Lounge Bar
