Good for People - 40% of the world's population doesn't have access to a toilet – imagine that? So Who Gives A Crap donates 50% of its profits to WaterAid to build toilets for those in need.

Good for the Earth - All Who Gives A Crap products are made from 100% recycled paper fibres, bamboo or sugarcane – saving on water, carbon emissions and trees.

Toilet paper that's Good for Your Bum and Great for the World!

Order by the box - as many boxes as you like!

A box makes a fun birthday or special occasion gift, too!

And if you want to try before you buy - pick up a single roll for $1 at Green Drinks or at our numerous market stalls.

  • Volunteer at Sustainable House Day

Shout out for volunteers to help on SHD2016 on Sunday 16 October

Volunteers are essential for community events especially for major events like Sustainable House Day.  Geelong Sustainability sincerely appreciates the community’s support for this ever popular event.

Volunteers are assigned to specific open houses and assist the homeowners by performing the meet & greet role with the public. These duties typically include: chatting to visitors, taking registrations, collecting donations, distributing resources and general crowd control.

We also use the info to prepare name badges and report on the number of volunteers involved in this major event.

  • Sustainable House Day Geelong 2016

    Sustainable_House_Day_Logo.jpg

Sustainable House Day gives people the opportunity to see inside houses that have been designed, built, renovated or retro-fitted with sustainability in mind.  Geelong Sustainability has been coordinating this event with support from the City of Greater Geelong for 8 years. This year we're also assisting houses to open in Golden Plains Shire.

The 2016 program is looking like our best ever! With 14 homes opening across suburban Geelong, the Bellarine and Golden Plains Shire on Sunday 16th October.

Get inspirational ideas and practical advice from the home owners and local experts.  At many locations, you'll find architects, builders, renewable energy experts and permaculture/gardening gurus who will be providing conducted tours and/or sharing their expertise.

You will be able to tour newly built, energy-efficient homes opening in Ocean Grove, Armstrong Creek, Bannockburn, St Leonards & Indented Head.

For people keen to learn about how to go off-grid, don’t miss the homes opening at Inverleigh and Little River.  While anyone thinking about going gas-free should visit the volume-built home at Armstrong Creek.

If you are planning a renovation or just wanting to retrofit your existing home to make it more comfortable, then you should visit the homes opening in Newtown, East Geelong, Manifold Heights & Wallington.

For the garden lovers you’ll find that most homes also have productive gardens and many have chickens and some have ducks.  If you want to learn more about permaculture, then you should not miss wandering around the amazing gardens in Thomson, Manifold Heights, Wallington and Bannockburn.
