[April 2010.  LETS members: I am experimenting with the format of the DIRECTORY.  Only you have to have Office (Excel) 2007.  This last format takes about 1/2 kilobytes.

Join GSG (as a paid member) and get your i. LETS Directory on our Website, and ii. Accounts Transaction Booklets/stubs, AND DIRECTORY and up-dates by e-mail, if you can!  Save trees and the environment, if possible! 

Of course we will send you Hard copies if you require them.

Surfcoast LETS

LETS stands for Local Energy Trading System or Local Energy Transfer Scheme

The Surfcoast Local Energy Trading System is a community-based trading system that allows you to trade without using your hard-earned Dollars. You 'pay' for what you receive by offering back to the community goods and services that you can provide.

The Surfcoast Local Energy Trading System is part of the global Community Exchange System (CES) network. This means you can trade with others all around the world, and go to other countries and obtain goods and services without using the 'official' currency.

You can go to the CES web site to find out more and register on line. There is no cost in Dollars to register; all that is required is your commitment to give back to the community what you take from it. You will be provided with your own online 'bank account' and access to a marketplace of thousands of useful goods and services.

When you have an account you will be able to advertise your 'offerings' and 'wants' and see what others are offering and what they require.
