Local Groups Geelong Organic Gardeners www.gog.org.au
Geelong Organic Gardeners is an informal, friendly diverse group of people who share a common interest in gardening organically, and working with nature rather than against it. We meet every second month at the Geelong Botanic Gardens meeting room and in the month in between, we go on a field trip. At our meetings we have a guest speaker, library for members, a sales table and seed bank. Six informative newsletters are sent out per year. For more information, please phone Trish on 5223 2407, or email trishjardine@exemail.com.au .

Six years ago our school transformed a bare paddock into a beautiful space for children to grow and be nurtured in their education. We have established a wetlands (10, 000 plants), orchard (70 trees), vegie gardens, and animals which the children care for in biodynamic farming classes. We have a rubbish free lunch policy, several water tanks, and are aiming for school buses and solar
panels for our school. Come and visit us on our next open day.
